Case Study: Massive Growth with Organic & Paid TikTok Efforts

THE CLIENT

The client is an aftermarket wheel & tire retailer that sells wheels, tires, and suspension upgrades for cars, trucks, and SUVs. They came to us looking for help with their digital marketing, specifically with driving more traffic to their website. They are a business that is always looking to scale its revenue growth efforts. To date, we have helped them grow from $17M/year to over $47M/year.

Our Approach

We had already been advertising on some of the other big platforms, but we wanted to reach a brand new audience to help build up their brand.


For the paid ads, we focused on using TikTok’s brand awareness and video view objectives. We created engaging video ads that creatively showcased the client’s products. We also ran giveaways using TikTok's lead generation objective, which worked brilliantly for overall growth. These giveaways have had a 90% new customer acquisition rate – this means that 90% of those entering the giveaways are not part of a larger list somewhere else for the business.

On the organic side, we helped the client hire an in-house content creator in an effort to scale their content creation efforts. The focus of this internal content creator is to create videos featuring the client's products and services and post them on their TikTok account. We challenged them to start posting 2-3 videos per day in April. As of the writing of this case study, they steadily add 1,000 new followers per week to their brand account and have crossed the 15K follower count from their efforts.


We also created informative and entertaining videos ourselves, which we used on the client’s paid TikTok advertising efforts. These videos are a mix of user-generated content (UGC), high-quality video creative, and iPhone-style "organic" videos.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED

The results speak for themselves: in just 4 months, we were able to grow the client’s TikTok following by 3.5 times and increase website traffic by 400%. Their email list has grown by over 10,000 new emails since focusing on this effort as well.
