Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an Email Marketing Specialist. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day email marketing tasks, including developing email campaigns, analyzing marketing data, generating sales, increasing open rates, click rates, and implementing marketing automation strategies. This role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Klaviyo marketing software.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Marketing Analytics and interpreting marketing data

  • Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration and customer engagement

  • Experience in e-commerce email marketing is a requirement

  • Experience in Klaviyo is a requirement - bonus for using advanced tools

  • Expertise in Marketing Automation to streamline campaign processes

  • Proficiency in Email Marketing Software for campaign execution

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is beneficial

Job opening: marketing human 🤝

Our marketing human job opening is a multi-faceted role for somebody who enjoys working on a few different areas of marketing. This person should be self-motivated to get tasks done on-time and on-budget. They should also be able to work in a remote-first environment. While we do have an office in Elyria, Ohio, we want people to understand that this office is merely a place for people to work, but aren't REQUIRED to work from.

If you have 2-4+ years of experience working in direct-to-consumer marketing, specifically social media marketing and email marketing, this may be a perfect role for you. We are looking for somebody that has experience with the following:

  • Social media marketing - scheduling content, basic editing of content, reading and understanding analytical data, working with tools like Meta Creator's Studio and later.com. An understanding of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn are preferred.

  • Content creation - this is the act of capturing content for social media. Having a comfortable understanding of Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts is preferred.

  • Email marketing - using and understanding the Klaviyo platform is key. We can help get you properly trained on our ways, but are always open to hearing new tips and tricks based on your experience. Building and scheduling campaigns, launching and adjusting automated email flows and reading analytics to make informed decisions is crucial to this role.

  • Social media advertising - not required, but would be nice to have. If you have experience building, maintaining and optimizing campaigns on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, or any other digital advertising channel, we are interested in hearing from you!

This role will be a contract/freelance job to start with full-time potential down the road.

This position starts at $30/hr (contract).
